শব্দভান্ডার (Vocabulary) is the total collection of words a person knows and uses in Bengali.

In the BPSC TRE 4.0 Bengali language paper, vocabulary questions cover:

• ›প্রতিশব্দ (Synonyms) — words with same or similar meaning (পর্যায়বাচী শব্দ)
• ›বিপরীত শব্দ (Antonyms) — words with opposite meaning (বিপরীতার্থক শব্দ)
• ›বানান (Spelling) — identifying correct Bengali spelling

These are direct memory-based questions. Words related to nature, daily life, and Bengali literature are most frequently tested in BPSC.
